MacOS Monterey opens on October 25
The next version of Apple's Mac operating system will be available for download from October 25. Apple unveiled the new chip and redesigned MacBook Pro on Monday at its 'Unleashed' event. News Engadget.
The new MacOS Monterey update brings significant changes to FaceTime. Added special audio support, listening to music and watching videos via SharePlay with friends.
The biggest addition to the new update is its Universal Control, which allows users to interact with each other between the iPad and the Mac. Users can transfer files to multiple devices via drag and drop. At the same time, users can type on the iPad using the MacBook keyboard.
However, the initial beta version of MacOS Monterey lacks SharePlay and Universal Control. Apple has said that these features will be added in the next update.
